| Description of the problem | I have a 2007 harley vrscdx motorcycle. The fuel gauge has an intermittent problem where at various fuel levels it will drop to "empty or full". It began before the warranty was void but because it was intermittent the dealer said they couldn't fix it and to bring it back when the problem is occurring. I have never been near the dealer when the problem occurs and have not been able to force it to happen. It has twice provided wrong readings that resulted in being stranded on a highway in traffic. The fuel gauge or sending unit is not reliable at all. Being on a busy highway on a motorcycle out of gas in the carpool lane is not a safe place to be... |
